The remains of a retired police chief, ACP Dorcas Ayodele Fadairo (Rtd), who transited on 29th of September, 2024, will be interred on Friday 18th October, 2024 at Ikoyi Cemetry by 10:am in Lagos.
Popularly known as “Aunty Ayo”, the deceased shored up the image of the Nigeria Police Force soon as a music exponent cum impresario, late Orlando Owoh showered her with praises over her kindness and professionalism when he ( Owoh) was an inmate of the then notorious Alagbon police cell in the nineties.
According to a source, late Aunty Ayo was never a merchandise police officer all the years she served the force before her retirement eight years ago. She was a woman in man’s world who performed her official duties with the fear of God, according to the source.
