Lagos Police Bust Four Suspected Criminals In Swift Operation

As part of an crackdown on rampaging criminals in Mile 12 area of Lagos state, detectives have swooped on a spot apprehending four suspects including a young man who stole hand-set from a lady.

Acting on a tip-off, a source said the officer in charge of the Mile 12 Police Post, Superintendent of Police, Endurance Owhigho led detectives to the bridge (Mile 12 — Ikorodu ) to arrest the suspects who were terrorizing motorists and passersby.

The four suspects were swiftly nabbed last week Thursday by detectives recovering a hand-set removed from a lady passerby from one of the suspect who has since confessed to the crime.

Three of the suspects have been transferred to the office of Lagos State Task Force, while the fourth suspect said to be suffering from intoxication delirium, is been observed at the police post as at the time of this report.

Last week, the Mile 12 area of the state came under the attack of hoodlums and miscreants intimidating and harassing law abiding residents and passersby. However, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh gave a decisive order to nip the situation in the bud.
