President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Dr Tunde Olusunle, poet, journalist, editor, and erstwhile member of the Editorial Board of Daily Times, on his birthday on March 30, 2026.
President Tinubu commends Olusunle for his exemplary contributions to Kogi State and to nation-building.
Olusunle served three governors in Kogi State in information and media management positions between 1992 and 1998. He also served as a presidential aide between 1999 and 2007.
President Tinubu lauds Olusunle for his enterprise and robust, cerebral media engagement as a journalist and society watchdog.
President Tinubu particularly notes Olusunle’s prolific creative writing and editing, as well as his involvement in over a dozen books in the last four years.
While saluting Olusunle’s mentorship of younger, emerging writers and journalists, President Tinubu prays for Olusunle’s good health and increased wisdom.
