The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force, CSP AdetayoAketele, has been commended for sanitizing the state, and, his intolerance for law breakers.
Speaking to News tower.ng last weekend, at an interactive forum between the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Olatunji Rilwan Disu and members of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN, the expert, Mr Olufemi Davies of Macdavies Security, disclosed that for Akerele’s uncompromising posture, hoodlums and other undesirable elements would have infiltrated the state.
“He is a fair, approachable officer who operates on a first come, first served basis. This is why people from all walks of life are reaching out to him on daily basis to give useful information which has helped the agency tremendously in this past few years”
“He is also known for his intolerance of laziness, indiscipline and extortion. Never compromise his official duty. As an officer, he execises sound discretion over matters, priding himself on impartiality. He has a discerning mind. Treats everyone equally based on his regards and respect for everyone” , Davies said.
The expert called on Nigerians based in Lagos to expose the activities of miscreants and those involved in illegal activities to the task force office , as all matters will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
