The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, today received members of the Ogun State Hunters Association, led by the State President, Chief Muftau Alabi Oseni, on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta. The delegation, according to the police image maker in the state, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, also included the State Chairman, Chief Tajudeen Adele, and a Trustee of the association, Chief Bakare Ajayi Fatai and other members of the Association.
Speaking during the visit, the State Chairman, Chief Tajudeen Adele, expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police and his management team for the warm reception extended to the delegation. He commended the CP for the notable achievements recorded across the state since assuming office, particularly highlighting the impactful rollout and ongoing success of Operation Kosaye. Chief Adele appreciated the Command for actively involving the Hunters Association in operational engagements, while pledging the associationβs unwavering support in every capacity to assist the police in safeguarding the lives and properties of Ogun State residents

Prior to delivering his remarks, CP Bode Ojajuni led the assembly in observing a minute of silence in honor of a member of the Hunters Association who paid the ultimate price during a recent joint operational exercise and in his response to the state chairman, the Commissioner of Police welcomed the delegation and extended deep appreciation to the leadership and entire membership of the association for the visit. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of the hunters, particularly during Operation Kosaye, emphasizing their indispensable role in the overarching security architecture of the state.
CP Ojajuni called for sustained collaboration, particularly in the areas where the association has demonstrated key strengths, with a strong emphasis on grassroots intelligence gathering and timely information sharing. He further reaffirmed his open-door policy, assuring the leadership of the Hunters Association of his continuous accessibility and support whenever needed.
