The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Olubode Bode Ojajuni, on Sunday, 11 October 2026, chaired the celebration and book launch organised by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Yusuf Lawal, Esq., PhD, Officer-in-Charge of the Special Enquiry Bureau (SEB), at AM 2 PM Hotel, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The event, according DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the Command spokesman, featured the launch of Essentials of Godnomics and Rule of Law, authored by ASP Lawal, who combines his policing career with legal practice and advanced academic scholarship.
Speaking at the occasion, CP Ojajuni emphasised the importance of continuous learning, intellectual development and professional excellence within the Nigeria Police Force. He encouraged officers to pursue academic and professional advancement, noting that personal development enhances knowledge, sharpens judgement and strengthens their capacity to deliver effective and accountable policing.

The CP’s participation served as an encouragement to police personnel to recognise that dedication to duty can go hand in hand with academic achievement and professional growth. ASP Lawal’s accomplishment demonstrates that the pursuit of knowledge beyond operational responsibilities can enrich policing, promote respect for the rule of law and inspire colleagues to strive for excellence in service to the nation.
