Nollywood actress Shan George has criticised women she claims left their marriages to pursue same-sex relationships, urging them to stop blaming their former husbands for the breakdown of their marriages.
The actress made the remarks in a post shared on her Facebook page, where she alleged that some women had moved out of their matrimonial homes to live with female partners while making false accusations against their ex-husbands.
According to Shan George, such women should publicly clear the names of their former spouses if the marriages ended because of their own personal choices.
In her post, she wrote:
“Fine geh, ya marriages no work bcos u be lezby, now wey u don comot for husbands house & move into ur lezby lady husband house, try clear d men names of all ur lies on them.”
She further stated that while people are free to live their lives as they choose, they should avoid deceiving others or making allegations against innocent individuals.
“Nansens pipu everywhere. We don’t stop pple from however they want to live their lives, but as u dey hide do all d evul, no forget say God is watching, and nothing is hidden under d sun. Nde holy holy but doing what they can’t be proud of in public.”
The actress did not mention any individual in her post, and it remains unclear whether her comments were directed at a specific person or were a general reaction to recent events.
Her remarks have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with users expressing differing opinions over her claims and the issues she raised.
